The Haunted Hotel

by Ron Roy
Series: A to Z Mysteries #8

Good read, just a little spooky.

Plot

Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose are best friends who live in the town of Green Lawn, Connecticut. One day, their families decide to spend the night at the local hotel, the Shangri-la. About midnight, the three hear and see a real live ghost! They become suspicious, however, when they see three men looking very happy about the complaints the other guests have filed. Could the "ghosts" actually be a plan to shut down the Shangi-la?

Morality

The bad characters are acting selfishly in the hopes of getting what they want, but that is frowned upon. All the good characters act morally, and of course the three friends are trying to bring the bad guys to justice.

Spiritual Content

There is the possibility of ghosts haunting the hotel, but this is cleared up. No mentions of God or religion.

Violence

None.

Drug and Alcohol Content

None.

Sexual Content

None.

Crude or Profane Language or Content

None.

Conclusion

This book was one of the more spookier of the series. The plot was fresh and new, and it had a good ending.
